Despite the assumed connotation, I think definitively likening me to Gossip Girl in the first line of the article paints the wrong picture. This site isn't about hearsay and scandal. Like I said from the start, it's about creating a vibrant online community for Ryerson and non-Ryerson kids alike.

This is a blog, and yes, there are tons of blogs that deal with gossip. But to suggest this place is one in the same as those other sites is a tad fallacious.

To equate me to Gossip Girl is like saying The Star and the National Enquirer are one in the same. This is obviously false. The only things they have in common (one would argue) are words, ink, and newsprint.

I really appreciate the publicity, but I had hoped this article would accurately report on what this blog is all about.

...or at least get the web address right. Since when is it Ryerson.ca/campus-life?
