Fabulous Confabulation: Democracy

The talk of the campus today was obviously yesterday's historic U.S. presidential election. It is not necessarily a domestic topic, but I thought it was at least worth touching upon.

My friend Ashley and I were cooped up in an edit suite working on our practicum project when we started talking about last night's momentous event. The discussion soon turned to the issue of Ashley not voting in the recent Canadian election. Why didn't she? Tune in for the thrilling answer!

(Hint: It may or may not have to do with supplying her proof of address. See? Thrilling!)

Also, don't forget about the big Discover Ryerson event going down tomorrow. I've heard there will be over a thousand people touring the campus. For those wondering what exactly will be discovered at this affair, take a look at the schedule:

Once again, big up to Justin Lee for the new blog header! Pogs rock.

It's gotta be the biggest election ever...it's big news in Australia too!
Btw, were you using Final cut?

Nope, iMovie all the way. It's significantly more confusing to use than Final Cut and has some utterly mediocre features!

Sounds like fun, doesn't the uni have FCP, Premiere...or even AVID???

Yeah the school's got all the impressive toys, but I am doing all this on my own laptop. Thus, not as impressive.

hrrmrm. I also didn't vote for the same reason as Ashley. For shame.
